Zakarya A Alzamil, Ph.D

Earned his Ph.D in computer science from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, Illinois, USA in 2002. His research interest is in the field of software engineering. He is an associate professor at the Software Engineering Department, College of Computer & Information Sciences, KSU, Saudi Arabia, and has about 20 published papers in a well known international journals and prestigious conferences. He has performed several consultation works for several public and private organizations. He has over 7 years in curriculum development in which he participated in developing computing disciplines curricula for several local colleges and universities. Also, he has participated in developing the curriculum for different health sciences curriculum. He has over 5 years of experience in developing quality assurance processes for learning and teaching, and has participated at many local and international quality assurance workshops. He is member of several technical and professional organizations. He is a senior member of IEEE. He had led different teams at different organization, in which he was the vice dean, Riyadh College of Technology, Director General of Training Evaluation, Technical & Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), Saudi Arabia. Currently, he is an associate professor, software engineering department, CCIS, King Saud University.
