PHCL 498 Introduction to Health informatics

This course introduces the student to principles of health informatics by providing students with the fundamental knowledge of the concepts of health informatics and how technology can be used in the delivery of health care. This course offers an in-depth review of health informatics (HI) and the management of healthcare data and information. Students will examine healthcare data structure and standards, common data analytics approaches and key component of electronic health records.
