· To understand the essential topics of biochemistry including biomolecules of proteins, nucleotides ,nucleic acids and enzymes and some minerals

· To make the student oriented with the physico-chemical basis of biological systems; and the related clinical problems.

· To familiarize the students with basic principles of Molecular biology and protein synthesis.

To enable the student to be familiar with biotechnology methods and their clinical implications

To recognize the essential aspects and expressions concerning Genetics

 To learn the Genetic Material structure.
