The main objective of this course is to familiarize students with more rigorous explanation and analysis of macroeconomic concepts and theories by an application of an IS/LM model to the main macroeconomic variables.  Furthermore, to familiarize the students of the determinants of consumption and investment, and how to achieve the balance in the different markets (goods and services, money the labor markets), in addition to train the students how to use fiscal and monetary policies to achieve stability and economic growth, given the most important contemporary economic problems such as inflation, unemployment and economic development.
 

يهدف المقرر الى شرح وتحليل مفاهيم الاقتصاد الكلي والمتغيرات الاقتصادية التي يتضمنها، وإلمام الطالب وتعريفه بمحددات الاستهلاك والاستثمار، وكيفية تحقيق التوازن في الأسواق المختلفة( سوق السلع والخدمات،سوق النقود سوق العمل)، بالإضافة الى تعريف على كيفية استخدام السياسات المالية والنقدية لتحقيق الاستقرار والنمو الاقتصادي كذلك تعريفه بأهم القضايا الاقتصادية المعاصرة مثل التضخم والبطالة والتنمية الاقتصادية.
