  • Participated in the thirty Sixth week of Sciences which was held during the period 2-7/11/1996 G (12-16/6/1417h) at Halab university , Syria.

 

  • Participated in the thirty first congregator for geologist which was held in Rio Dejaniro, Brazil during the month of August 2000 G.

 

  • Chaired Several Sessions in specialized conferences held at King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) and Kuwait Institutes For Scientific Research ( KISR) and other.

  • Appointed by the department to teach the first ever course of geology to girt students from the geography department, college of  Arts, King Saud University.

 

  • Cooperated with King Khalid Military College, the National Guard to teach geology course for the military Student in the Second term of the years 1418/1417H (1998/1997G).

 

  • Technical advisor for the Ministry of Water and Electricity.

 

  • Member of the advisory committee for Prince Sultan International Water Prize.

 

  • Supervised two M.Sc theses.

 

  • Supervising two M.Sc theses, at present.
