RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

Motorized Mobile Car

Developed Motorized Mobile Car has been sponsored by the Tamilnadu State Council for Technical Education (TSCTE), Chennai.

  • The project dealt with the design and implementation of a 4 wheeled motor driven vehicle.
  • It is powered by batteries and driven by a DC motor.
  • “Portable motorized car” can be folded easily and compactly as a suitcase and can be pulled along with the person like a trolley.
  • A Pulse Width Modulation drive was installed to control the motor.
  • The vehicle was able to carry a single person of 80 kilograms at a maximum speed of 15 km/hr.
  • Portable Motorized Car is more suitable for supervision purposes at industries.

PC Based Energy Metering
Real Time application oriented Project developed in C Language with the following
distinctions.

  • It prevents tampering of meters – eliminating power thefts.
  • It is absolutely pc controlled – eradicating the present non-accurate mechanic analog meters thereby providing an accurate digital output.
  • Future development: It can be intertwined with the Internet to provide an easy mode of payment by the user.
  • Preventing power break down and accessories can do monitoring of any atrophy from remote places there.
