An introductory course that forms part of the general English module for students on the
Humanities track. Emphasis is on developing foundation of four macro English skills:
reading, listening, writing and speaking. Course content includes basic forms of English
grammar including language structure, such as phrasal and sentence construction.
Students will practice their reading, listening, writing and speaking skills through
communicative and functional activities. Students are expected to fulfill set minimum
study hours and reach A1 (Breakthrough) proficiency. Students progress to ENG 151 on
successful completion
