NUR 414 - Psychiatric Nursing Practical (Bachelor Program)

This practicum course is designed to introduce students to the concepts of critical thinking guided by the nursing process to provide mentally ill people and their families with needed nursing care. Emphasis will be placed on building up a trustful nurse-patient relationship, and employing therapeutic communication skills.
