NUR 430 - Current Issues in Nursing (Bachelor Program)

This course explores the nursing as a profession in the present practice with the hope of aiding students to understand the profession; where and how it started, the very development it went through to achieve its current condition, and more importantly, the present situatin including its challenges, issues, and trends. The historical perspectives and its relevance to present day challenges and issues, nursig education, current nusing practice, the relationship of nursing profession to the society and the impact of the society on the practice of nursing as a whole.
