Nursing Theories

Students will discuss developments of current initiatives and strategies in the design and execution of nursing intervention for topics of a special area of interest to faculty and students. Individualized studies and reading in areas of mutual interest to the student and the faculty member concerning the mechanisms, limitations and controversies underlying such initiatives and strategies will also be discussed. Moreover, students will acquire the competence of facilitating the development and role of socialization, review advancement parameters for nursing sciences and explore various aspects and topics such as legal, ethical and socio-cultural factors related to situations and issues that warrant systematic consideration and reflection on the role of the nurse.
