IS 351 Project Management Tutorials

The tutorials of this course are meant to fulfil particular objectives.
Tutorial 1 Objectives: 1. Learn what is project management. 2.Learn how MS Project helps in managing projects. 3. Learn how to create a new project using MS Project.
Tutorial 2 Objectives: 1. Learn what is a task list. 2. Learn how to enter and delete tasks in MS Project. 3. Learn how to estimate task lengths in MS Project.
Tutorial 3 Objectives: 1. Learn how to create task links. 2. Learn how to create task resource list. 3. Learn how to create working time calendars.
After completing the three tutorials by week 6 of school, students are expected to work on  (in groups of 3)  and complete a six week course project using  MS Project . Both A PDF/word format report as well as  a power point presentation are required  by week 12 of school .
