IS 472 Course Project / Grades

Students would work together in groups to carry on a research on one of twelve given topics. Students are advised to form groups according to the guidelines given, review the topics and select a topic during week 2. Groups have full 8 weeks to complete the project requirements starting from week 3.
By week 10, each group is expected to submit  a well organized report on the selected topic and conduct a presentation  on week 11. Discussion questions during the presentation are intended to reflect the degree of understanding of the group to the topic being presented.

The project carries a weight of 15 points distributed over the organization of the report (6 points), quality of the presentation (4 points) and active participation in  discussion questions (5 points). 
It is not  allowed to change a group after being formed nor change a topic after being selected. 
Periodical review of your work  on a bi-weekly basis is highly recommended during the two office hour slots assigned for such course project , as there will be no regular session attendance for work review.
