Legal Translation - 446 NAJD - 2nd Semester 1435/1436 H

This course aims to provide advanced level students with practical training on translation between English and Arabic in the legal fields. The course introduces and analyzes legal texts I order to highlight lexical and stylistic characteristics of the legal language and to discuss strategies that help overcome peculiar translation problems. The course also aims to acquaint the students with the best specialized dictionaries in the field and other useful resources.
