I got my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from King Saud University in 1993 and joined the Department of Mechanical Enginering at KSU as a Teaching Assistant, who later sponsored my mission to continue my graduate education. In Fall 1995, I joined the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, Department of Mechanical Engineering and I got my master degree in 1997 and my PhD in 2003. Since that time, I am a faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at KSU. My research intrests are in stability of thermoelastic contact, machine design, computional mechanics using finite element method.
