Ahmed M. El-Naggar received the B.S., and M.S. and Ph. D. degrees from Ain-Shams University, Egypt, in 1980, 1986 and 1992, respectively. He was a predoctoral researcher working on the growth and characterization of hydrogenated amorphous silicon Solar Cells at Technical Clausthal University, Germany (1988-1991). He was a postdoctoral researcher working on the growth and characterization of oxides, III-V semiconductor materials, and opto-electronic devices at North Carolina State University and University of Rochester, USA (1999-2002). He is a professor at Physics and Astronomy dept., King Saud University, Saudi Arabia (2003-Now). He is a member of the renewable energy and environment research group (Thin Films and Solar Cells).
