Prof. Dr. E. Abd El-Motaal obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Structural Geology and from Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt in 1990 and 1993. He joined Al-Azhar University in Cairo in 1984 (as a Demonstrator) till 2006 (as a Professor). In 1988-1989 Abd El-Motaal a Diploma in Remote Sensing from ITC. Enschede, Netherlands. He joined the Sabha University, Libya as an Associate Professor teaching Structural Geology and Geotectonics in 2004-2005. From 2009 till now he joined King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as a professor of Structural Geology and Plate tectonics. He supervised several M.Sc. and Ph.D. dissertations and published more than 25 articles in the field of Structural Geology, Neotectonics and Geomorphology. Prof. Dr. E. Abd El-Motaal was awarded the Fulbright Fellowship in Saint Louis University, Saint Louis, Missouri in 2002.
