composite materials and their energy and environment applications, metal organic framework and their energy and environment applications, metallo-organic chemistry applied to development of new advanced materials, water purification, explosive detection and neutralization, sensors, radiation role in thermal decomposition/ formation of molecular precursors, solid state chemistry, nanotechnology, catalysis, electro- and photo-catalysis.

PI for Distinguished Scientist Fellowship Program (DSFP) as KSU counterpart & joint project with Prof. Edoardo Mosconi from Computational Laboratory for Hybrid/Organic Photovoltaics (CLHYO), Istituto CNR di Scienze e Tecnologie Chimiche “Giulio Natta” (CNR-SCITEC), Via Elce di Sotto 8, 06123Perugia, Italy since 2021, the highly cited scientist, 2020 until now.
