introduction/brief CV

Dr Alruwaili is working at the Radiology depatment in King Saud University as an assistant professor. In 2011 she have accomplished her master degree in Mangetic Resonance Technology (MRT) at the Centre of Advanced Imaging (CAI) at The University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. She acquired her PhD from the School of Medicine at the same university in 2017.

 Dr Alruwaili is a neuroimaging researcher contemplating new discoveries in neuroscience and neuroimaging research. Breathing diffusion MRI and its application in understanding neurodegeneration and neurological disorders. Currently, she is engaged in more than 5 clinical research projects involving fMRI, both BOLD and connectivity. MR elastography is her new passion. Supervised research projects for more than 70 honour students. Furthermore, she ran ore than 6 courses in her speciality, two of these are held annually.

Inside and outside academia, Dr Alruwaili is a very active academic in community services and projects. Presented more than 13 lectures in publishing, research methods, referencing tools, educating public about neuro injuries, MR safety, medical imaging advance techniques and more. Dr Alruwaili organised creative public events which went viral on edia such as MRI Cinema.
