Geo 320 Petrology
Petrology is a course in which geophysics students will learn briefly about origin and classification of igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks, with examples from Saudi Arabia. Students will witness and participate in demonstrations, examine hand and microscopic specimens, see computer simulations and animations, attend field trips, and sketch images drawn by the instructor.
