PHRM 213 - Pharmaceutical Analysis (1)- Hours 3 (2+1)

COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course will include introduction to both volumetric and spectroscopic methods of analysis. The course will cover the basic principles of each method, mathematical treatment, laws, calculation, advantages and limitations and finally, the applications of each method in the field of pharmaceutical analysis.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
The main purpose of the course is to introduce pharmacy students to the rationale of analytical chemistry concepts that are essential for quality control of pharmaceutical products, clinical chemistry, and the basic scientific research.
