I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at King Saud University, specializing in flood risk assessment and mitigation. My research focuses on conducting comprehensive analyses, including socio-economic assessments, to understand the impacts of flooding on various aspects such as people, buildings, transportation, and critical infrastructure. I have extensive experience in developing strategies for flood mitigation at both property and community levels. Additionally, I have expertise in developing web-based decision support systems aimed at facilitating access to flood information and providing tools for effectively mitigating flood impacts.
