I have had the good fortune during my career to have served an international community in many parts of the world and to have been responsible for building bridges across cultures. Although a U.S. citizen, I have lived and worked in three countries and visited 19 countries on five continents. I have also participated and integrated within diverse cultures, disseminated knowledge and gained valuable work experience in pluralistic societies.
I achieved budget reductions of approximately eleven percent through improved IT expenditures and support, reductions in vendor contracts and design of specialized in-house software applications at Colgate University.
I provided leadership in the development and evaluation of the faculty professional development and student progression and supervised administrative and logical personnel and IT personnel with oversight for support of multiple academic departments at Baruch College. Concurrently, I was an adjunct faculty member at the Zicklin School of Business (AACSB), Baruch College, NY.
I delivered, coordinated and managed the M.S. program in IT at Zayed University.
For the last two decades, I have continued to hold responsibilities for working collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students in shared governance that fostered in me a passion for technology-related innovation and its impact on individuals and entrepreneurs.
Through serving on strategic planning committees for more than two decades I have been actively involved in strategic planning and implementation at the College of Business Administration at King Saud University, Saudi Arabia since 2011.
I am an active researcher in the area of online business and entrepreneurship that have given rise to a range of publications in the form of case studies, book chapters, books, articles in peer-reviewed journals, peer-reviewed conference proceedings, and research seminars.
