- Student will learn the following concepts: Direct (Gauss-elimination and its variants) and iterative methods (Jacobi and Gauss-Seidel) for solving system of linear equations along with error estimate; System of nonlinear equations (Newton’s method); Interpolation and Polynomial Approximations numerical differentiation. Numerical integration. Numerical solutions of differential equation. Engineering Applications
