يعمل الإستاذ الدكتور هشام سليمان اليوسف في قسم اللغة الإنجليزية بكلية اللغات وعلومها بجامعة الملك سعود. و حصل على شهادة الدكتوراه من جامعة أديليد بإستراليا. ويقوم حاليا الدكتور هشام بالتدريس والإشراف على عدد من طلاب الدراسات العليا.وقد قام الدكتور بنشر فصول في ثلاثة كتب و العديد من الأوراق علمية في مجلات علمية محكمة وبعضها ضمن قاعدتي بيانات سكوبوس و آي إس آي. وتشمل اهتمامات الدكتور هشام علم اللغة الوظيفي، و تحليل الخطاب المتعدد الأشكال، وطرق بحث المعارف العلمية، القراءة والإستيعاب، أدوات تقييم دارسي اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة ثانية/أجنبية، أستخدامات التقنية في التعليم العالي، آلخ. ولدى الدكتور هشام الخبره في تدريس اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة ثانية/أجنبية لأكثر من 30 سنة
Hesham Suleiman Alyousef is a full professor at the College of Language Sciences, Department of English, King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He received his PhD in 2014 from the University of Adelaide, Australia. Currently, Prof. Hesham teaches and supervises a number of postgraduate students. He has published three book chapters and a number of papers in refereed journals and journals listed in ISI. His research interests include systemic functional linguistics, multimodal discourse analysis, academic literacies, metadiscourse, reading comprehension research, assessment and evaluation tools for ESL/EFL students, and the use of Web 2.0 technology in higher education.
