Dr. Ibrahim Abdalla Hassan Barakat, is currently working as an Assistant Professor of embryology, College of Science, King Saud University, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as an Assistant Professor in the Cell Biology Department, National Research Centre, 33 Bohouth st., Dokki, Giza, Egypt. Beside his regular academic duties, Dr. Ibrahim has vast scientific interests in the fields of Cloning of sheep, study of gene expression in embryos produced in vitro, Determine the best conditions for animal embryo production in vitro, and Animal production improvement using Sperm mediated gene transfer technique and new advanced techniques. Dr. Ibrahim Barakat has published many specialized articles in embryo technology field, and has one patent in Academic Scientific Research and Technology, Egypt for using the fenugreek seeds extract as alternative of estradiol 17β in the oocytes maturation medium. Dr. Ibrahim received his B.Sc. in Animal Production (Cairo University, Egypt), M.Sc. in Cytogenetic and embryology (Cairo University, Egypt, 2005), After PhD, he worked as a Researcher in National Research Centre, until 2009, and from 2009 until now worked in the King Saud University, Faculty of Science.
