481 RHS

There is various teaching philosophy that was undertaken in teaching the
481 RHS course, first of all learning through the cognitive approach which
depends on the memory process system and on the prior knowledge which is an
important role in learning. Secondly
and more importantly is implementing the constructivism active involvement of
learners through
constructing knowledge for themselves, and building new ideas or concepts based
upon current knowledge and their past experience. Undoubtedly this will promote
a student's free exploration within a given course syllabus or framework, then
students will be encouraged in working within groups to solve realistic
problems.

        Therefore the roles and
responsibilities of the student in this process will not be based on reading
the given lectures notes, it needs more independent efforts and using the
critical approach. Through building up the self-learning confidence by means of
raising the project aims', searching and critically review the available
literatures, collecting
and analyzing the data, finally discuss their results.
In contrast the roles of the instructor in
this process will based on preparing the students with enough background of
these issues and facilitate them throughout the semester to achieve those goals
in organized manner.
