أ.د. خالد الغثبر أستاذ امن المعلومات في كلية علوم الحاسب والمعلومات بجامعة الملك سعود. حصل على الماجستير والدكتوراه من جامعة جورج ميسن بالولايات المتحدة الامريكية. لديه في أمن المعلومات تسعة براءات اختراع أمريكية وأكثر من 70 بحث علمي محكم في أمن المعلومات وستة شهادات واجازات مهنية متخصصة. أسس وادار مركز التميز لأمن المعلومات بجامعة الملك سعود. حاصل على المركز الأول لجائزة الأمير سلمان للقادة الشباب. قدم العديد من الدورات التدريبية والمحاضرات في مؤتمرات محلية وإقليمية ودولية.
