Publication Abstract

In this paper, a computer aided die design system is presented for the medication tablets strip. The system is constructed using visual basic program under AutoCAD environment. The system produces the die design both in 2D and 3D. In 2D, the system results the die in 3 different projections (elevation, side view and plan). In 3D module, the system successfully produced the part as one piece to be able for machining at CNC machines. The system is used effectively in one of the famous pharmaceutical factories works in Egypt, which support most of the medical companies in the Middle East area. The proposed system runs quickly and produced medication tablets strip die design automatically
