CHE 613: Biochemical Engineering

CHE 613: Biochemical Engineering is designed to provide the PhD student with an opportunity to gain or improve knowledge in bioprocess engineering and biotechnology.  This course deals with 1) a basic overview of biology and quantitative aspects of these disciplines for chemical engineers, 2) biocatalysts using enzymes and whole cells, and engineering aspects of bioreactor analysis and design, and 3) recent trends and topics in biotechnology.
