Work and Activities Experience: 
- Member in Organizing the Seventh International Symposium on Studies in the History of Arabia (2010).
- Member of organizing many conferences and workshops at the department such as, the Ottoman archives conference, the local documents conference, and the scripts conference.
- Teaching the course His 131 for four semesters and His 481: history of the new world for two semesters.
- Member of the Saudi Historical society. 
- Member in the academic assessment and accreditation committee in The Department.
- Member in the new curriculum committee of the history Department.
- Member in the development and the quality committee in the history Department. 
- Member of Center of Historical and Cultural Studies of Arabia and responsible for the National history division. 
- Responsible for the History Department web site.
- Reviewing many historical books such as the memorial Book – in honor of Dr. Abdullah Alfuhaid, the local documents workshop book.
