ENG 107: Listening and Speaking

This course helps students to develop basic listening and speaking skills in English as a Second Language. It is a beginning listening and speaking course that includes practice in group interaction, public speaking, and listening comprehension.

Students should be able to:
1. To pronounce English words correctly;
2. To listen and grasp spoken English efficiently;
3. To use the three basic listening models
4. To define the barriers to listening
5. To speak English in good, clear manner;
6. To speak good English in group activities;
7. To respond promptly to various situations;
8. To discuss various topics to a small audience;
