مقدمة :
مساق مقرر مبادئ العلوم السياسية متطلب أساسي لكل المساقات الأكاديمية الأخرى التي يدرسها طالب التخصص في العلوم السياسية . وهو يمثل الأساس والعمود الفقري لدراسة العلوم السياسية . وهذا المساق يوفر لكل طالب / طالبه القدرة على فهم معنى علم السياسة والمجالات التي تتصل بهذا الفرع من فروع العلوم الإجتماعية والإنسانية . وبذلك يصبح هذا المساق المدخل الرئيسي لكل المساقات الأخرى التي تزداد درجة تخصصها كلما ارتقى الطالب في مدارج الدراسة الأكاديمية . وهذا المساق يوفر لكل طالب / طالبه من خلال الكتاب المقرر القدرة على الفهم والإلمام العام للمجالات الأساسية التي تتصل بعلم السياسة وهي الفكر السياسي ، المؤسسات السياسية ، العلاقات الدولية . كما أن المحاضرات والواجبات هي مهمة أيضاً فهي تسعى لربط الطالب / الطالبة بالأمثلة العملية (الأحداث السياسية) التي تدعم الأطر النظرية .
توزيع الدرجات :
5 درجات ... حضور ومشاركة
15درجة ... على كل طالب/طالبة أن يعّد 3 تقارير قصيرة يختارها من بين 10 مواضيع حية في العلاقات الدولية والسياسة العامة ، وستكون مطروحة من قبل مدرس المادة في بداية الفصل الدراسي ويلزم اختيار 3 مواضيع في موعد أقصاه نهاية الأسبوع الثالث من بداية الفصل الدراسي ، وسيقوم مدرس المادة بشرح الطريقة التي ستتبع في عمل التقارير وعلى جميع الطلاب / الطالبات أن يلتزموا بها .

Principles of Political Science
SAS 101
Introduction:
Course decision principles of political science prerequisite for all other academic courses taught by student specialization in political science. It represents the foundation and backbone to study political science. This course provides each student / demanded the ability to understand the meaning of science and policy areas that relate to this branch of Social Sciences and Humanities. Bringing this course, the main entrance for all other courses that increase the degree of specialization whenever elevated runways student academic study. This course provides each student / student of the book scheduled capacity for understanding and knowledge of the core areas that relate to political science, a political ideology, political institutions, international relations. The lectures and assignments are also important are seeking to link the student / student practical examples (political events) that support the theoretical frameworks.
Grading:
5 degrees ... Attendance and participation
15 degrees ... Each student / student to prepare 3 reports short chosen from among 10 topics alive in international relations and public policy, and will be on the table by the subject teacher at the beginning of the semester and have a choice of 3 topics by the end of the third week of the beginning of the semester, and will subject teacher explain the method to be followed in reporting and to all students / students to abide by.
