دراسة تحليلية لرسائل الماجستير المجازة من قسم وسائل وتكنولوجيا التعليم بكليات الشرق العربي بمدينة الرياض خلال الفترة من عام 1433هـ إلى 1436هـ
This study aimed to analyze the dissertation that been approved by the Department of educational technology in Arab East colleges in Riyadh City through the period from 1433H/2012 up to 1436H/2015, it includes the analysis through its characteristics; in order to understand the reality and build the scientific framework based on theoretical understanding. The study followed the descriptive style by applying content analysis methods. Moreover, the sample contained (59) dissertations. Content analysis evaluated card were applied for analysis. The data been analysis using statistical frequencies and percentages. The results showed that:
- The sampling in the dissertations, mostly, were female then general school students.
- Majority of the desecrations methods applied were experimental and quasi-experimental approaches. However, the majority of data collection tool applied were examinations.
- More than half of the dissertations did not adopt or include theories or instructional design model or themes.
- Most of the technology tools applied was programing of computers and the internets’ websites, also some used software -digital media-.
It recommended to encourage government and private colleges to direct the attention and give more efforts to support and developing educational technology department, besides encouraging students’ research project to embrace the research with technologies concerned the current educational environment, also, to concerned the real needs based on in-depth analytical studies i.e. qualitative research.
