Course Requirements:
           
1. Oxford Advanced Learners' Dictionary(8^thedition)
2. Supplementary booklet (at the campus copy center)
 
Mark Distribution:
 

• 60% for the Course Work
  • 1^st in-term: 25 marks
  • 2^nd in-term: 25 marks
  • Class work: 10 marks

 

• 40% for the Final Exam

 
Exam Dates:
 
            1^st in-term: Wed. 7/11/2013
            2^nd in-term: Wed.26/12/2013
 
 
Course Highlights:
 
             • Do NOT be absent for the in-term exams because there will not be any make up exams. If you have an extreme medical reason for being absent, you will need to present official verification from a government hospital of your medical situation, and then each individual case will be dealt with accordingly. If the leave is approved, the make-up exam will take place at the end of the semester, and will include ALL the chapters covered during the whole semester.
• If a student misses both in-terms, the make-up exam will cover the mark of ONE exam only (i.e. 25 marks only).
