Course Description

Evolution and development of health education, health education models: preventive approach, educational approach, health promotion, empowerment, self-concepts and life skills, advocacy. The study of health communication: models, components, assumptions, types and barriers. Effective verbal and non verbal communication skills and ’P’ process of communication

Teaching Strategies:Lectures, group Discussions, role-play, essay &presentations
