The purpose of molecular biology lab is to allow undergraduate students to learn and perform various laboratory techniques including DNA extraction, polymerase chain reaction , gel electrophoresis, primer design, DNA characterisation, in addition to basic laboratory techniques.

 BCH 462:

 The course covers the definitions and applications of biotechnology and genetic engineering.

BCH 447 : 

The Metabolic Biochemistry course focuses on biochemical pathways involved in intermediary metabolism.
This course is designed to demonstrate the how basic principles of biochemical structure govern molecular regulation in both normal health and the disease state.
