Nadeem Ahsan Siddiqui

Bio: 
Nadeem Ahsan Siddiqui is currently Professor of Structural Engineering at the Department of Civil Engineering, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He received the Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India in 1999. Before joining King Saud University in April 2005, he was Assistant Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. His research interests include Safety and reliability assessment of land-based and offshore structures; Repair and rehabilitation of concrete structures using composites; Impact mechanics and Extreme Loading. He is an Affiliate member of ASCE, USA and Committee member of Saudi Building Code SBC 304. He is recipient of several awards including prestigious 2016’s Al-Qasbi Award for Excellence in Civil Engineering in Saudi Arabia. He is teaching various subjects of structural and civil engineering for last 20 years and published more than 100 research papers in International journals and conferences.

  • Participating in the dissemination of the knowledge of repair and rehabilitation of structures through a Chair established for "Research and Studies in Strengthening and Rehabilitation of Structures".
  • Reviewed the two book proposals, in the field of Reliability Engineering, for Elsevier.
