      • Studying the various techniques of spectrum sensing, the enabling technology for cognitive radio (a possible candidate for the 5G Network)
      • Simulating the algorithm using MATLAB
      • Implementing the algorithm in real-time on an FPGA interface
      • Testing the implementation using National Instruments test bed
