Research Interests

Theoretical Phonology, Descriptive Phonology, Historical Phonology, Phonological Acquisition, Sociophonology, and Morphophonology. I am also interested in Optimality Theory in terms of the analysis of phonological aspects of English in general and Arabic modern dialects in particular, especially Saudi dialects.
