This course aims at translating Military and
Security related texts:
- Translation problems
 - Types of texts
- Translating Acronyms

Course Objectives:
Translating specialized texts from and into Arabic
language and implementing some concepts in
theory, terminology and documentation.

Learning Outcomes:
After studying the course, the student is expected to be able to:
Understand Military and Security texts and their characteristics. The issue of Arabizing
terminologies. Develop students translation skills through effective participation and home
assignments in addition to research related to terminology and documentation. Students can also
compare translations and develop his critical skills.
Understand the cultural diversity.
