BARAKAT A. was born in Egypt in 1981.In 2002 He received his B.S. degree from the department of chemistry, faculty of science, Alexandria university Egypt,In 2010, He received his Ph. D. from Politecnico di Milano, Milano, Italy in a joint program with ETH, Zurich, Switzerland and university of Stuttgart, Germany under supervision of Prof. Claudio Fuganti (Italy) and Prof. Rene Peters (Germany) entitled ASYMMETRIC SYNTHESIS BY ENZYME AND SOFT LEWIS ACID CATALYSIS. He has more than 80 articles.
