Ibrahim S. Al-Mutaz PhD from Yale University on May 24, 1985 Professor of Chemical Engineering, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Prof. Ibrahim S. Al-Mutaz has since 1979 academic and professional experience in desalination and water treatment field. He acted as part time consultants with Riyadh Water Authority, where he led various some practical filed projects and conducted many technical reports. He has published more than 50 papers on desalination and water treatment. Prof. Al-Mutaz is a member of the Editorial Board of Desalination Journal, Elsevier and International Journal of Nuclear Desalination, lnderscience. He is also is a member of the IDA and member of the foundation Committee of the Arab Water Council. He was member of the executive Committee of Prince Sultan Research Center for Environment, Water and Desert as well as various scientific and professional societies; such as IChemE (England), AIChE (USA), CSChE(Canada), ACS (USA), AWMA (USA), and others.
