CSC558: Image Analysis and Pattern Recognition

CSC 558 is a course that surveys basic concepts in image processing and pattern recognition. Topics included are: contrast and edge enhancement, histogram modification, image segmentation, feature extraction, statistical classifiers. Design problems involving computer implementation of algorithms are used extensively.
