The course aims at developing students’ communicative abilities. It also helps in preparing them to deal with academic content. The course includes the following topics: the tenses (as a revision because they have already been covered in detail in Grammar I), the passive construction, gerunds and infinitives, and causative and structurally related verbs. The students practice the given structures through the activities provided in the book, as well as orally in class.
