Eman A. AlKofide

Biography Eman AlKofide (BDS, MSc, FCMDOP, and D.Sc.) is a Professor of Orthodontics in the department of Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics, at the College of Dentistry, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Dental Science from King Saud University in 1989. She thereafter completed her postgraduate studies at Tufts University in Boston, Ma. Where she obtained a Master’s degree & fellowship in Craniomandibular and Orofacial Pain in 1992. In 1994, she finished her Orthodontic training & acquired a certificate in Clinical Orthodontics. She also obtained a Doctorate degree in Dental public Health from Boston University in 1997. Since 1997 until the present, she has been a faculty member at the Department of Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics at the College of Dentistry, King Saud University. She held numerous positions in the College such as the Head of the Orthodontic Division, and Director of the Orthodontic postgraduate program. She is active in research and has published numerous research articles in various international and national journals. She has also given numerous presentations both locally & internationally. She is also part of the editorial board in several leading journals such as the prestigious Angle Orthodontics Journal, Journal of Pediatric Genetics, Journal of Dental Health, Oral Disorders & Therapy, Journal of Dentistry & Oral Care, and the Journal of the Pakistan Dental Association.
