2. Selected by the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology as one of the top 5 scientific reviewers for the journal Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology and Oral Radiology (2014-2015).
3. Commendation for efforts within The Infection Control Unit of the College of Dentistry (2012).
4. The King Saud University Distinguished Postgraduate Researcher Award. (2011).
5. Commendation for contribution to establishing infection control guidelines, establishment of Sterilization Center, and conducting a series of lectures on infection control in dentistry for the Out Patient Dental Department of the Riyadh Medical Complex (2004).  
6. Commendation for Outstanding Internship Seminar (College of Dentistry, King Saud University) (1997).
7. Graduated from the College of Dentistry with second degree honors— ranking the 1st in the class (1996).
