Tutorial 1: An Introduction to XML structure is coverd in this tutorial . It explains the basic blocks of an XML file mainly elements, attributes and comments. The Structure of an XML document (Definition Document) is explained by an Example using XSD (XML Schema Definition).
Tutorial 2:  After having obtained  a basic understanding of an XML file,  Tutorial 2 explains how to read and write XML file from SAS. One way of doing that would be to make use of the XML libname engine which translates SAS datasets to XML and vice versa. This way the XML files can be used as if they were datasets.
