Advanced Nanomaterials & Their Potential Applications

This course works will focus on the basics of the nano-scale materials. Historical perspective on nanomaterials, classifications & syntheses techniques will be discussed in detail. The session will also cover polymeric nanoparticles: core-shell concepts, polymer caped metal nanoparticles, controlling the size and composition of the metallic cores of nanoparticles and functionalized metal nanoparticles arrays on surfaces.
