My research interest is to elucidate the physiology and Pathophysiology of smooth muscle. My main focus is on uterine smooth muscles. In particular I’m interested to investigate why some labours do not progress well despite strong uterine contractions. I’m also interested to know the effect of some herbal medicine on smooth muscle.
