The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the major concepts and tools for collecting, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from data. Students are exposed to four broad conceptual themes:

Course Description

The topics include:
1. Data collection, graphical displays of data, and descriptive & inferential statistics. 2. Basic concepts of probability and sampling distributions
3. Continuous distributions including normal and t-distribution
4. Confidence intervals and hypothesis testing.
